FINANCIAL MODELLING
Financial Models are only as accurate as their inputs. With detailed time series calculations from our renewable energy modeling and design software, we ensure a high level of confidence from the inception of a project.  Variables that need special attention include, location specific weather conditions, potential shading from structures both current and future, performance data of the various components over the long periods, replacement costs of equipment given the fast pace that technology changes etc.

Carbonex is the Majority Shareholder in GreenSun International Limited. we pool design, procurement and implementation resources with GreenSun SA on projects outside of South Africa to make economics and time schedules work.  

Carbonex is also shareholder in GreenSun Renewable Energy (Pty) Ltd, that is a Cape Town based Renewable Energy Company. GreenSun SA has a lot of traction and experience in the Residential and Commercial market with high implementation efficiency and a good track record. 

Through GreenSun SA we have access to most premium brands that make our projects highly bankable with back to back supplier warrantees.

Our solar design, project costing and financial modelling software suits are cross platform integrated to drastically reduce lead  times to proposal outputs. This enables us to clearly identify the parameters on each project that make it economical and technically feasible.

The missing link in the renewable energy equation is proper energy storage as most of the renewable technologies are unpredictable. A high density cheap storage solution will mature renewables overnight. With the fast pace at which Storage Technology changes, it is imperative that one stay ahead of the curve when it comes to tailored solution that fit the load and energy charge available and this is where time series modeling takes center stage.
